How We Build

The Master's Process

1

Discovery

We meet to discuss spatial requirements, material preferences, and the specific emotional impact you want the piece to convey.

2

Blueprint

I draft detailed physical sketches and 3D CAD models, selecting the exact timber slabs and finishes for your approval.

3

Crafting

Weeks of meticulous cutting, joining, shaping, and sanding in the workshop. You receive progress photos along the way.

4

Delivery

White-glove delivery and personal installation to ensure the piece perfectly integrates into its intended architectural environment.

Common Inquiries

What is your typical lead time?

Due to the bespoke nature of my work and my commitment to singular focus on each piece, lead times typically range from 12 to 16 weeks from deposit to delivery. Complex architectural installations may require longer.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. I work with specialized fine art logistics companies to crate and ship pieces securely anywhere in the world. Shipping costs are calculated and quoted separately from the commission price.

Can I supply my own timber?

Occasionally, yes. If you have a sentimental piece of fallen timber from your property, I can assess it for moisture content and structural integrity. However, it must undergo proper kiln drying before I can use it for furniture.

How do commissions work financially?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in the schedule and procure materials. The remaining 50% balance, plus shipping/installation costs, is due upon completion prior to delivery.
