We begin with a deep dive into your vision, spatial requirements, and functional needs. I assess the environment to recommend the optimal timber species and overarching design direction.
I create detailed CAD drawings and physical scale models if necessary. Once approved, we visit the lumber yard or my private stock to hand-select the specific boards, ensuring grain continuity.
The core of the process. Raw timber is dimensioned, allowed to acclimate, and then meticulously shaped. All joints are cut tightly to ensure generational structural integrity without reliance on metal fasteners.
Multiple layers of natural oils, waxes, or resilient lacquers are applied to protect the piece and highlight the wood's chatoyancy. Finally, the piece is safely delivered and professionally installed in your space.
