The Artisan's Process

A transparent, step-by-step journey from raw concept to finished masterpiece.

1

Consultation & Conception

We begin with a deep dive into your vision, spatial requirements, and functional needs. I assess the environment to recommend the optimal timber species and overarching design direction.

2

Drafting & Wood Selection

I create detailed CAD drawings and physical scale models if necessary. Once approved, we visit the lumber yard or my private stock to hand-select the specific boards, ensuring grain continuity.

3

Milling & Joinery

The core of the process. Raw timber is dimensioned, allowed to acclimate, and then meticulously shaped. All joints are cut tightly to ensure generational structural integrity without reliance on metal fasteners.

4

Finishing & Installation

Multiple layers of natural oils, waxes, or resilient lacquers are applied to protect the piece and highlight the wood's chatoyancy. Finally, the piece is safely delivered and professionally installed in your space.

Client Praise

"Elias didn't just build us a dining table; he created the heart of our home. The attention to the grain matching on the walnut top is nothing short of obsessive. It's a true work of art that functions flawlessly."

Sarah Jenkins

Private Homeowner

"As an interior architect, finding craftsmen who can execute complex geometries in solid wood is rare. Elias took our conceptual drawings for the hotel lobby seating and engineered them into stunning, durable realities."

Marcus Vance

Lead Architect, Vance Design

"The built-in library Elias constructed for my study transformed the entire room. His knowledge of wood movement and traditional cabinetry techniques ensures these shelves will outlast the house itself."

Commission an Inquiry

Currently accepting commissions for Q3 & Q4. Review the common queries below or reach out directly to discuss your project.

What is your typical lead time?
Lead times vary based on the complexity of the piece and current workshop schedule. Typically, custom furniture takes 8-12 weeks from deposit to delivery, while larger architectural millwork projects may require 4-6 months. I will provide a precise timeline during our initial consultation.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. While I am based locally, I frequently crate and ship bespoke pieces worldwide using specialized white-glove art and furniture couriers to ensure your piece arrives in pristine condition. International shipping quotes are provided upon design approval.
How do you price your custom work?
Pricing is determined by the cost of the specific raw materials (wood species, hardware), the complexity of the joinery, and the estimated hours of labor. Every piece is unique. After our initial consultation, I provide a detailed, transparent proposal outlining all costs before any commitment is made.
Can I visit the workshop?
Absolutely. I encourage clients to visit the studio during the drafting phase to view material samples and during the milling phase to see their piece coming to life. Workshop visits are strictly by appointment only to ensure a safe environment and undivided attention.
