Do you only work with new openings?
Not at all. While I love building concepts from the ground up, a large portion of my work involves turning around existing restaurants or hotels that feel stagnant. We conduct a deep-dive audit and implement strategic changes to revitalize the brand and boost profitability.
What is your typical project timeline?
Timelines vary wildly based on scope. A pure brand identity and menu design project might take 4-6 weeks. A full-scale concept development from dirt to grand opening typically spans 6 to 12 months. I only take on a limited number of clients per year to ensure dedication to these timelines.
Do you handle the physical construction?
I am not a licensed architect or general contractor. However, I act as your creative director and operational advocate during the build-out. I work directly alongside your architects and contractors to ensure the physical build aligns perfectly with the brand vision and operational flow we designed.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
I am currently based in New York City, but my services are available globally. I regularly travel for site visits, vendor meetings, and critical pre-opening training periods. Travel logistics and expenses are calculated during our initial proposal phase.
